As a corporate caterer serving Washington, DC and Northern Virginia, we continue to follow CDC and local health guidelines to ensure food safety. Our staff is fully vaccinated, masked during preparation and delivery, and screened daily for temperature and symptoms. Workstations are distanced by at least 10 feet. Any team member showing illness is sent home for a minimum of ten days or until medically cleared. Delivery vehicles are sanitized daily, including all high-touch surfaces between routes. We also adapt to each client’s workplace safety requirements to ensure all catering procedures meet your facility’s standards.

Sinplicity Catering focuses exclusively on corporate drop-off catering, operating Monday through Friday across Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. Weekend or evening service may be available with advance scheduling.

Orders are accepted until 2:00 PM on the business day prior to delivery. Because availability is limited, all orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend submitting early to guarantee your preferred delivery time, especially for large or custom corporate events.

Yes. All weekday corporate catering orders require a $200 minimum for food and beverages within our DC and Northern Virginia service area. After-hours deliveries may be subject to higher minimums.

Yes. We can arrange professional service staff for setup, service, and cleanup upon request. Please contact one of our catering coordinators for pricing and staffing details.

Cancellations or guest count reductions require at least 24 hours’ notice. Orders canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a full charge. Custom menus, reception items, or events of 50 guests or more may require 48 hours’ notice. These policies help us manage fresh food production and staff scheduling efficiently.

Because food and fuel costs fluctuate, menu pricing is subject to change without prior notice. We work hard to keep pricing competitive while maintaining the high quality expected from a DC- and Northern Virginia-based corporate caterer.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Payments may be processed prior to delivery at our discretion. A 3% processing fee applies to credit card transactions. Corporate accounts are available with an approved application and card on file. Payment terms are net 21 days, with interest applied to balances outstanding after 30 days.

We require a 30-minute delivery window for all orders. Deliveries may arrive up to 30 minutes before your requested time. To ensure accuracy, we do not deliver between 9:00 and 10:00 AM while vans are being loaded for lunch service. If no one is available to receive your order during the scheduled window, our driver will continue other deliveries and return afterward when possible.

Our focus is corporate and institutional catering. We do not normally deliver to private residences, except by prior arrangement. Residential deliveries must be cart-accessible and pre-approved by our operations team.

Delivery fees depend on order type and location.
• Cold menu delivery — 6% of food and beverage total or $35 (minimum).
• Hot menu delivery — 8% of food and beverage total or $50 (minimum).
Orders placed after 3:00 PM may incur after-hours delivery surcharges based on complexity and staffing needs. -
Yes. We offer several presentation options:
• Disposable china-style plates and silver-look cutlery roll-ups — $3 per person.
• Compostable plates and utensils upon request.
• Paper tablecloths (6-foot tables) — $4 each in purple or white.
• Ceramic platters to enhance buffets — $35 per 50 guests plus round-trip delivery. -
Refunds are reviewed case-by-case. If any portion of your catering order or service is unsatisfactory, please call our office immediately. We will investigate and work toward a fair resolution. Our goal is 100% client satisfaction for every DC and Northern Virginia order.

Coffee pots and creamers are loaned at no charge and picked up the same day or next business day. Replacement charges apply for lost or damaged items. While we do not supply tables, chairs, or linens in-house, we can arrange rentals and delivery through trusted third-party partners in the DC and Northern Virginia area.

Please inform our team of any dietary restrictions or allergies when placing your order. Although we are not a gluten-free, nut-free, or dairy-free facility, we take great care to minimize cross-contact and clearly label all ingredients. We do our best to honor every menu request safely and accurately.

We collect only the information needed to confirm, deliver, and invoice your order — such as contact details, delivery address, and payment information. Sinplicity Catering values your trust and never sells or shares customer data. All information is used solely for communication and service purposes.

Severe weather can impact safe delivery conditions in DC and Northern Virginia. If you must cancel due to forecasted weather, please notify us by 3:00 PM on the prior business day. If the order has not been canceled, food will be prepared and charged accordingly. If conditions make delivery unsafe for drivers, we will contact you and waive charges. This policy applies only to weather emergencies; our standard 24–48 hour cancellation policy remains in effect otherwise.
